Husqvarna 258 is the only allowed type. However, I don't know the exact bike details. They are twin shock, looks like a seventies design to me. Presumably 250cc

I started the winter service.
Took out the Reiger and sent it off to be serviced, lubricated the link and swingarm bearings (replaced a couple in the process). Will also inspect / lubricate the steering bearings and put in a new piston. And of course change fork oil.

I also started servicing the Ohlins S3 steering damper. Try to do it myself, have to learn something new from time to time. I got a pretty detailed description from the local Ohlins importer.
Have to make a few tools along the way. That way I can also get some hours in the "other" workshop, the one with lathe and milling machine

I disassembled the Ohlins S3 steering damper.

I gave my 200 a new piston. Used one 0.3mm gasket as before. Adjusted squish last time around, so this time I didn't even remove the head. The piston is a OEM S3, marked S3 Vertex.

Having given up on trying to grow longer legs, last night I fitted a 30MM lowering kit to my 19 EC300. I filled up with Evans waterless collant and went around the old girl with my torque wrench just to make sure that the guys in Spain were using their's.

I’ve tested yesterday the 38mm smartcarb with the BE11 rod in my 144 gasser. I am very happy with the result. The engine revs without limit even when the bottom end is a little bit weak. I kept the adjustment on the rich side, because of riding on a deep sand track.
When someone has a 36mm smartcarb for sale let me know.

Neat bike. I'm not 100% sure but I think Drehwurm68 in German Offroadforum sells a smart carb.
