Default Strange Problem With My Gasgas Ec300 Am Ready To Burn It,

HI,
Guys now this is a strange problem i am having with my GasGas ec300 and wanted to see if anyone had some answers to it , I would like as many answers and ideas to try from diffrent people to run through before i burn it.
Right the problem i am having is that i can go out for about a hour or so with the lads and my bike will just cut out and wont start again not even with a tow off another bike ,I can get it back home into the shed put another plug in and it will start again.
I have had this bike for 2 years and never had a problem till now and its not a easy problem to pin point , I have used about 12 spark plugs upto now just to get out over a couple of weeks why has it started with such a wiered bloody issue.

If you have never had previous problems I suggest removing and cleaning the carb. If you are not comfortable doing this it would be a good idea to have help. It sounds like something is causing a slightly rich fuel condition... dirt in a passage or jet (which blocks the AIR needed to mix with the fuel). Only use compressed air to blow out passages after soaking in a cleaner or degreaser. Never use small wires or similar, they can actually cause the debris to plug the passage as you can't make the turns to push the debris out fully. Good luck!

I might get the carb cleaned and setup again and see if that rules it out , Ive got to try everything one by one to get to the bottom of it.
I was think carb but with never having it off before thought i can not be that but dirt does get in.

BTW, what year?

I had a problem this last summer where my bike started running poorly and then at one point just crapped out. My bike had never done this before and I had just changed the jetting, but I had only moved the clip. It seems in the process I got some dirt in it. All I did to fix it was pull the carb and clean everything real well and returned the clip.

I second the clean the carb suggestion.

does it run ok for the first 1/2 hr?
If so, forget the carby.
Sounds like either a stator or a cdi failing when it gets hot.
Get a can or freezer spray and spray the cdi when it does it next and see if it will go

I second an electrical problem; running fine then dying then firing-up fine after a (cool down) time smacks of something electical. A connection is opening due to heat, and then closing when cooled. A dirty carb won't clean itself.

easy enough to isolate the problem,,, change the plug right when it happens. Save the old plug and check it for spark when you get home and the bike cools off. Got spark? Electrical issue. No spark? Fouling plugs. When it dies don't be towing it to try to start it if you are going to check the plug later as you will foul the plug no matter what by doing that. Good luck.
