Scotts Steering Stabilizer dimensions?
Hi guys,
I'm making a SUB mount for my steering stabilizer and was wondering what the distance between the two mounting holes is on a Scotts/Ohlins steering stabilizer and what the thread is on the bolts? I'm away from home right now and need to get the drawing done by tomorrow. Thanks, Steve |

You sure they're M6x1 bolts? They only take a 5mm allen...thought they're either M4 or M5?

I'm almost certain they take M4 bolts. Is pitch important, because I think they're .125???

Need the pitch and diameter as I'm drilling and tapping the mount holes.

M6 x 1 bolts, its in my hand trust me. 1mm pitch is standard for M6. You can drill M4 pilot holes if you like though.

I am sure you already know this but I was reading my stabilizer booklet the other day and it was very much highlighted that the centre of the damper( The rod that the linkarm bolts on to), must be located directly above the steering stem.
