I never tried it as I was happy with the JD needle but I would like a more linear power curve with less hit... |

I'm currently running the following in my 2007 EC200:
Bike year & model = 2007 EC200 Temperature (degF) = 50-86 Elevation (feet) = 1300-2000 Main jet = 178 Pilot jet = 48 Needle & notch = NDHW Clip 2 Air screw setting = 1.25 Throttle valve/slide = 6 Haven't tested it yet but the 50 pilot that was in it was too rich. |

Jim, I have no doubt that you are correct
However, when I changed from the N1EF to the NECW there was definitely a noticeable difference at wide open between the two(the NECW was much better). I do hope to get out this weekend to see how the 172 main performs |

Went out again today for 4 1/2 hours/120km with the 172main jet, it's still blubbery when you roll on to wot but overall feels better
Man I love this machine, I've only been out on it 3 times and I'm getting the vibe that the bike knows me better than I know myself...it's very forgiving I haven't pulled the plug yet(it didn't foul a plug today), but I'll pull it tomorrow and if it's black I'll most probably go with a 170 main and try again. Pulled plug and it's still darker than I'd like........going down to a 170. Last edited by rodent; 08-17-2019 at 08:16 PM. |

One more thing.... If your exhaust packing is already full of spooge, it can affect your jetting results.

I would hope the packing isn't soaked in spooge as I've only been out 3 times |
