Default 2011 Front Fender with 2010 Headlight

Anyone know if this will work? I have a complete 2011 Cerventes plastic kit on the ready, but I have always preferred the 2010 headlight and fender (but mostly the headlight). It just looks slimmer and more aggressive. Any idea if I can mix and match these parts? If not I may stick with the 2010 fender and headlight and just rock out the rest of the kit.

The shape where the fender and headlight meet up are different between the 2010 and 11. The 2011 headlight mask comes to a point where it mates on the fender and the 10 has the 2 "legs" on the sides that fit on the little points on the 2010 fender.

Anything is possible I guess but I tried to put a 2010 fender on my 11 with the 11 headlight and I couldn't see a way to make it look good without doing a lot of butchering.

That does look good. I guess I should have tried a little harder on mine.. Now that I think about it I think I was trying to mount the 2010 fender with the 2011 headlight since my 2010 mask didn't have a light in it and I don't know if those would have mated as nice.

Thanks. I'll have a closer inspection when I get home. Totally agree the 2011 headlight doesnt appear to fit with the 2010 fender. I'd say I'll probably keep the full fender and headlight setup as is and just make some changes to the fork covers and hand guards up front.
