Default 2002 gas gas ec 200

My gas gas ec 200 has never been apart
And starts like a new bike and runs great
But is well overdue for a top end
I have to know what piston and ring came in
This bike from the factory because that's what
I'll be putting back in it
Thx 😀😀😀

I had one, ran a wiseco piston and that's what I put back in.

While her about it consider getting the head squish done by RB or similar.

Wossner piston kits have a great reputation. I needed a kit for my '01 XC 200 and someone on this forum recommended Niks Industries for Wossner pistons.

Not only did Niks have the lowest retail price that I could find, but just by pure luck, had a 40% off for onlne sales the weekend that I did my search.

Great price, top of the line product and fast, free shipping. Niks Industries is worth checking out, imo.

Also, there should be a letter, (A,B or C) stamped in your cylinder near the carb. You'll need that info when ordering your piston kit.

It's not what you asked for, but it worked out well for me, so I'm passing it along.

Default 2002 gas gas ec 200

I bought a Wiseco for my 2000 model EC200. I believe it shares the same piston as an Artic Cat or something. Look at the front web page for this site and look for the parts interchange information.

Yeah I'd def buy Woosner, done one in my and a mates 300s. Look like great pistons and good value over here compared. Looked great when I had to replace a base gasket a year or so on.

Not sure about 02,but 03-09 is wossner 8139DA
8139DB,8139DC depending on whats stamped on your barrel. (Was the correct part for my 13 200 so the 03-09 on the box label may not be the whole story)
Then again the 02 may be different...
