Come to think of it Bombardier might make a nice suitor, it already has sleds and quads, they have access to the engineering needed to keep things up to date. We would end up riding Can Am rebadged Gassers though .....

I think you're right in that the Evinrude stuff is a little clunky for a dirt bike.
Bombardier is a huge company with little overlap - probably would be another good partner. |

Yeah I agree, Bombardier would be a good match.

One would think that they could team up with Rotax to build the first mass produced dirt bike with the E-Tec technology. Rotax (owned by BRP) is located in Europe. A good fit if you ask me. BRP could even help them market in north America. Their already involved with GNCC on the quad side.

Pretty sure Can-Am was short for canadian and american. Probably something thought up by the marketing department.
If they got back into it, it would be canadian and spanish hmmm can-span??? If they wanted to kow tow to the american market CANadian, SPanish, and AMerican Can-Spam!!! Factory race colors would be dark blue and ham pink? GROAN .... I know ...... thats bad |
