Default 110/90-18 vs. 120/90-18 rear tires

Any advantage or disadvantage to either size?

The tires I am considering are Dunlop Geomax Mx31 with a Tubliss system.

You may need to add a link to your chain if go to a 120/100. I tried one on my bike and the tire wedged the mud guard into the swingarm. It also raised the back end up which was a problem for my 29" inseam so I went back to the 110/100.

Different manufacturers run large or small. My experience is that the dunlops, in particular, tend to be a little large for their size - I would run the 110 width for this tire.

Michelin, on the other hand, measures in some bizarre way where a 130 width is a tad smaller than a 110 dunlop...

I run a 130/80 18,, wide but low profile.. less prone to pinched flats..
