2008 EC300 jetting
Got the bike back together after a new top end and having the head machined to 1.4mm squish. I did not measure the squish. Shops said they did not have to correct the volume. They measured but did not tell the value for the CR. Carb is an Airstriker I
First attempt: 42 Pilot CCK #3 Main 178 Good throttle response coming out of corners. Runs rich and does not rev out cleanly. Burbles at I guess from 1/4 to 3/8. Never got on the main (MX track I rode was to short) Second attempt: 42 Pilot DDK #2 Main 178 Throttle response seems flat no hit. I really preferred the initial hit from the CCK. revs clean from 1/4 to 3/8. Lowered the idle I don't think it was using the idle circuit on the first CCK try. Not sure if I should try the CCK at #2 next or try a different needle. I can get my hands on an N3CH I also want to try a 40 pilot. idle speed does not seem to be affected even when I go to 3 turns on the air screw. From what I've been reading here and looking at the JD guide I think my next test is going to be the N3CH |

Go go the 40 N3CH#3 178.. Give it a try and we'll work from there.

N3CH#3 178 run really well. Still using the 42 pilot, I have to find a 40 pilot to try to get a better idle.
