Default New guy looking for some pointers.

Hello all,
This is a really cool place and full of great information. Really like how you guys are one big community. Just recently got a bike. Been on bikes my whole life ,but this is my first gg. I have found a lot of answers to my questions on this forum , but have been stumped on one big thing. The Bike I️ purchased. Appears to be a 2002 125 according to frame. After looking at online manuals the engine appears to be a 200/250. Is there a way to figure out for sure to avoid ordering wrongs parts. Vtrxc1200c0910035 Is the vin on the neck. Any advice or information is appreciated. Thanks for allowing me in! -John

Yellow plastics indicate 125 or 250.... Let me do some more thinking...
Kinda looks like a special edition bike with those forks and gold clutch cover.
A picture of the expansion chamber would help a lot...

I will take some more pics tonight. Where I got really stumped was the gear box oil fill plug is located behind the kick start lever. Per the manual pics that was 200/250/300. Pics of I was looking at it correctly.

I'm hardly an expert on older GasGas stuff. But I would guess that is a 2002 EC200 with the Ohlins fork option. And modified rear plastics...

Post more pics, Some of each side of the motor and of the pipe. Oil fill plug behind the kickstarter would be unlike anything I ever owned. I had a 99, 05, 05 and 07 300.

Definitely a 125. Clutch cover/sidecover shape is specific to 125s only. I used to have a 02 125 with the Ohlins forks just like yours.

I'm a little scared that you could even tell that from the picture. There are hardly enough pixels to even see the clutch cover! And yes I know the picture gets bigger when you click on it. Lol.

My money is on it being a GG125 with the Ohlins forks. I agree based upon the clutch cover and the small expansion chamber on the pipe.
