EE hand guards on 18 EC models.
As you know the EC and XC GG models have different bars. As I was getting ready to mount my EE hand guards on my EC 300 I discovered the sliding locking devices wouldn't fit inside the handlebar. Also the EC handlebars are a little thicker than other handlebars. Out came the calipers and I measured .496" on the inside bar diameter and .522 on the locking devices. So I took a 17/32 .5313" drill bit and drilled the inside of the handlebars about 1-1/2 deep and now they work. I'm sure other hand guards are going to be similar when trying to fit on the EC models. I'll alert EE.

Renthal bar have a different inner diameter.
Most hand guard manufacturers would spec different inserts for these. |

There are different spec bar mounts and inserts for Renthal Twinwall bars.
I've bought them under both the EE and Moose branded handguards (same product, different branding) Same applies to Cycra. |
