Default CDI problem halley 450 09?

Since a few days my 09 bike doesn't want to start at normal idle (1900-2100rpm). Only if i put the idle very high at +4800rpm it starts immediately. If i ride it, the motorcycle sometimes bogs at 5000rpm but pulls trough after. I have also noticed the spark plug colours black instead of dark brown. I called a gas gas mechanic and he immediately said that it's a CDI problem and should be diagnosed with the proper software.

In the past had problems with another bike (Scorpa T-Ride 250f); it wouldn't rev past 2000rpm until another CDI was installed. After that no more problems.

I hope i don't have to buy a new unit because i know it's not cheap
