Default Speedo resetting often

So, the trail tech speedo on my fantic (for all intensive purposes, all GG hard wear, ignition, wiring, etc.) has been resetting itself a lot of late, and the whole 888 display with everything on until I press mode.

Has anyone else had this? All my connections are fine, and it seems to do it whether the bike is running or not.

Any step in the right direction would much appreciated.

Does the internal battery need replacing? I've had no problem with mine, but it is properly rubber mounted too.

Second that. Replacing the battery will sort it out, however if your trail tech speedo is getting too many volts (as mine is), battery life will suffer and the issues will start over.

I changed the internal battery 2 months ago. To no avail.

If it is a battery thing, it wouldn't do it while riding would it?

Call Trail Tech. Their customer service is second to none. They are great people. I had to send my voyager in a couple months ago for a broken button and they sent me back a brand new one. Turn around with shipping time included was just over a week

the battery does not make a firm contact .open the battery cover and fold up a small piece of paper, then put the cover back on ,this will put pressure on the battery connection
