300 EC generator output.
Ok guys I know this is already probably done to death but I cannot find a direct answer.
I have a 2015 300ec electric start and wish to fit some different lighting. I plan on removing the stock headlight and fitting a 35w HID H4 hi/low and a HID 35w H1 spot light. Would the stock stator be able to run this, the brake light and keep enough charge going to the battery? No indicators etc will be fitted. Thanks in advance. Barbs |

Barbs,
I reckon I read somewhere the stock stator puts out 60w? I may be wrong? There is a high performance stator you can buy from the US which is the same as a KTM one and is about 100w or so , Ricky Stator I think? Any of you US blokes confirm? Cheers Mark

I have yet to see a published number that makes any sense. I guess you can figure on 70W. If you put on those lights, make sure they can be individually switched. That way if your battery runs down, you can turn one off and gain some charging ability. It's not that big a deal since the GG has a kickstarter.
