Good point.
However i don't run my sled at the same rpm all day. Can't in my neck of the woods. I still think it could be done if somone wanted to do it.

Thumbs up Oil injection

Great article. Get on it GAS GAS! I know it can't happen overnight, but it looks promising. I didn't realize 2t's were that inefficient on burn.
Sounds to good to be true. Efficient burning, no carb, no jetting, metered oil, smaller gas tank, probly better performance, with up to 70% more gas mileage per tank.
I guess the bottom line is how much the 2t bike will weigh?

Bah! Internal combustion engines are dead. What we need is a decent power source or battery then just go electric.

Think about it, max torque available from zero rpm & up, continuously controllable engine management electronically, traction control, ease of 2 wheel drive & no gearbox required. All weight centralised, no sloshy petrol upsetting the plot up high, unheard of maintenance intervals (no oil changes) & best of all minimal noise or emissions that the greenies can complain about.

All the hop-up companies will have to morph into software companies for zany selectable ‘moss covered rock’ or 'killer wheelie with gyro shutoff anti loop mode' sw updates, or concentrate on sticker sets.

Hoozahh!

I understand what you're saying but I think the charm of the 2 stroke is simplicity and light weight. If you start to dilute that why not get a thumper?

You want more? Who are you? Superman? You’re starting to sound like my wife.

15 minutes, c’mon! I work hard all day.

Well, we get 50km + out of our mobility scooter at WOT. Now, if I could just get some faster switching transistors........

Hmm.. Electric Motor...

Reminds me what someone said about my old 300 - "It's a 300cc electric drill - Totally linear power..."
