Default CT Ramblers Snow Run Enduro '07

Near perfect conditions at last Sunday's NETRA season opener.
One of the best days of riding I've had in 30 years. Spikes and frozen ground can make anyone, even me, feel like a hero.
As mentioned by fury1 in another thread, Fred Hoess took the overall with a 4.
We just got 2' of snow yesterday so it'll be a while before we can get back to riding. :-(

Here's a link to some video taken by a friend/check worker:
http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...92988026035063

And I'll sneak in a pic of myself.

Brian VT.
I'm curious about the riding in Vermont. My brother is living in Rutland and I have some other family around the state but have never been able to find good riding up there. Did some large quad style trails right outside of Rutland on Birds Eye Mountain but that was it and never saw a bike rider just quads. Can it be true that you are the only Vermont bike rider?

I mostly ride events. The only legal riding in VT is on Class 4 roads with a dual-sport.
It seems most of the land has been bought and then posted.

Thumbs up

Thanks for the video. What is the deepest snow U can ride in? And does the ground underneath have to be frozen? This looks like something we could do over here in the Cascades. Thanks, Bob

Much more than 4" of loose snow is like riding in mud. No fun.
Bare frozen ground is great but you'll tear a few studs out.
The ideal is hardpacked or frozen snowmobile trails. Don't ride off into the fluff, though.
