Default I've got the GasGas gas tank blues

I love my '15 300. Really I do...

I'd like to do some off road races, more specifically some desert races. Am simply out of luck with after market tanks? Are there not enough gasgas riders to create enough demand for a company like ims or clarke to make a tank for us?

Please, somebody tell me I'm not resigned to a rear fender acerbic tank

Hopelessly in love with my "small chested" bike.
Rob

You can also get a front number board tank for an extra few litres
https://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p...iary-Fuel-Tank
And also smaller handlebar option

And some Clark options here http://www.justgastanks.com/dirt-bik...gas-gas-tanks/

The Safari tank is supposed to fit 2007 models on. It holds 3.6 gallons.

Sure looks like Jake Froman found a tank that will work, maybe he would be kind enough to tell what is involved.

Default Options...

Good to see the safari, but woah $500

Wonder how many of us it would take to make it worth-while for Clarke or IMS to take one of their existing tanks and engineer a "new" tank to fit our babies? I'm gonna call them tomorrow and see what they say. May also see if they're willing to send me one for an older model with the hopes of making it fit and if I can't then letting me return it.

I checked the IMS site and I couldn't even find one for the '18s.

All that being said, I'll call tomorrow and see what they say. May also do a poll here and see how many would buy if it were available.

More to come,
Rob

I seem to remember reading on the web about "molding to fit" gas tanks with heat and compressed air but a bit risky on a new $500 tank

I did some minor reshaping on my Clarke tank. It was heating and drawing the wings in a bit tighter to the bike. Eventually the tank relaxed back almost to the stock shape. It was enough to show that making the tank take a shape change is not easy.
