GMP, isn't it funny how some of the "toughest" people can have such soft hearts? Few things make me feel a genuine "like" of a person more than their feelings of compassion for abandoned, abused, or their general love of animals that are in trouble. Be it a turtle on the road or a rattlesnake in the neighborhood. Cruelty to animals makes me want to be cruel to humans that think it ok.

Make no mistake, I hunt but not for sport! Meat only. I dislike shooting them but animals do taste "yummy". I shoot paper for sport! I'm pretty good at that and suck as a hunter!

I'm jealous of you guys that are riding! The weather is great, I'm waiting on parts, and I'm stuck in this damn chair!

Happy trails!
Ed

my coolest adoption story... then i will stop... a guy that worked with me found a puppy in a dumpster.. we took it.. it was the ugliest dog i have ever seen.. very hard to train... uggg...
the lady that runs our shelter is a bit scattered brain.. she called us and told us to send some pictures to bernadette peters... really...
so we did.. she flew to amarillo tx and rented a van and drove him and her assistant back to nyc... she was the nicest lady.. she is big in rescue world.. i had no idea..

Since this is your topic and you are the one doing the hijacking there should be no harm in adding to it.

Swazi...no prob. Hell, I can only whine so much about my knee! Any good conversation is fine in any thread I ever start!

I look forward to telling you guys....."all healed up, going for a ride"! In the mean time a little dog or gun discussion is cool.

But just to stay slightly on topic.....knee looks like Hell but is feeling ok!

I realized I had a video of the path! At about 5:17 I go around the fence. At about 5:28 there is a grey tree to the right. The Pines that fell were just beyond it. The hanging limb was not there when this was shot, the forest had not turned green yet. For that 10 secs,. or so I was WFO.........

I did not take my feet off the pegs from start to finish , not even when turning around, except for when I clipped the small tree with my shoulder and went a little wide left around 4:53.....sorta need to stick one down then Not really noticeable in vid.
