Motion pro micro bleeders on a 12'
They fit very well with just a little room to spare to get the tip of my finger in there. I have an aftermarket upper clamp, so I'm not sure it would work with the stock clamp. It would depend on where you adjust your forks in them.
Gak! boy there is alot of dirt in there! |

One reason I went back to screws. With Flexbars its even worse as the lower section is straight, plus when you tie the bike down using this section(as you should) there is little room and the straps can contact the bleeders. It was such a PIA on several fronts I said screw it. There is never any evidence of air buildup in the fork anyway, at least with the stock seals. If you like your bars high and use risers then that may be a different story.

Honestly once I set the preload to where I liked it I haven't messed with it. I set the preload with the stock renthals on it and there was tons of room to get in there.
GMP, for what ever reason I was getting enough air build up to notice the performance in my forks change. I live at 1100' and did a lot of my riding at 7000' to 9000'. As far as I know I have the OEM seals in it. Unless Steve changed them when he did the revalve? Like tomorrow when start to ride the temps will be in the 50's and when I'm done it will be in the low 80's. |
