Nicer than the oversize Stealth IMO. More $$ to spend.

I bought a Leo Vince for my KTM, and I didn't care for it. I had two spark arrestors (PC 304 and the Leo), and two non spark arrested silencers for my 250xcw. The Leo Vince choked down the power more than all of the others and was somewhat of a pain to take on and off. I didn't keep it very long before selling it. I don't have any complaints about the FMF Q that came stock on the Gas Gas.

I have a Leo Vince S3 on my bike and the spark arrester was removable, yes was a bit choked with it in but it was a 2minute job to unbolt it and take it out.

Must not work that well if he is having to wear ear protection... or is it just thinking crazy...

I have the leo vince silencer on my 07 and i'm extremely impressed with it, much better quality and fit than the turbine core i took off. It sounds awesome and runs even better. Ive never put the spark arrestor screen though...really have no need for it but its nice to have the option if i need it. Plus it looks pretty trick. I highly recommend it Im surprised to hear others arnt as impressed.

Never had one, but I assume the complaints about choked off performance are from the spark arrestor screen. It would be really hard to screw up a straight through silencer design. I had a Stealth, and my issue with it is its just too big like a 4stroke can. The Leo is nice and compact. I had an LV system on my Ducati and it was of excellent quality and fit.

I'll agree it looks good and it's nice to have the option of removing the spark arrestor. However, I felt the PC Forest Friendly spark arrestor worked better even when I took the screen out of the LEO V. I tested them back to back 3 or 4 times along with the PC Shorty non spark arrested silencer. The Forest Friendly's power delivery was right in between the two, and the PC shorty made the power come on real aggressive.
I'm not trying to knock the Leo silencer. I'm just sharing my past experience with it on a KTM. |
