Default Derestricting 2006 EC300

I have just bought my first ever Gas Gas. A immaculate 2006 EC300 which has only been used by a novice for trail riding.
I have heard that these bikes stock are somewhat restricted for road use and I want to open it up for some enduro events.

What needle do I need @ sea level ?
What a good exhaust system to get it breathing ?
What's this reed valve mod ?
Is the airbox restricted ?

All help appreciated.

I had one of them.Good solid honest machine.

Needle----n3eg to really make it buzz or jd blue for smoother ride.Standard n1ef etc are way too fat and makes them bog down.Check float level.

Exhaust should be fine unless you have the black road version fitted. If it is,ditch it.

Reedvalve is ok standard.

Air box ok, but check there's no road restricter plate behind the airfilter.

Treated right these girls will give many many hours of riding goodness.

Got it...thanks for the reply.
It has silver expansion chamber with FMF muffler so I'll just order a jet and check out the airfilter....easy as.
Cheers.
