I really like the Hyde combo pipe gurad/skid plate. I have had many encounters with rocks and roots. It provides solid protection and slides over rocks much better than aluminum. It also provides good pipe protection.

Force radiator guards are the best on the market, by far. I got mine directly from Force Accessories in Australia.

While very pricey, Bullet Proof Designs billet radiator guards are light, strong and look fantastic.
Flatland products offer a lot of bang for the buck, but fitment or lack of is a constant problem.
Ricochet (Utah Sportcycle) makes a great skid plate.
The DRZ crowd love the Unabiker radiator guards - are they made for Gassers?

Seems that the BPD gaurds are for 2003-2006. I might have to buy Force rad gaurds.
