Default Winter is here!

Many of us who live in the PNW(Puget Sound Region) call Tahuya home for the rainy, muddy, deep water crossing, snowy, icy...season? Most, like myself ride all over creation when the weather & snow levels allow. I do believe This coming weekend is going to be my reintroduction. This week will be a check of my insullated SCUBA gear. It'll be interesting, to say the least.
Edit: was going to post a couple short vids of winter mishaps(can't get my links to work).

Could be...It's almost rained enough, plus I'll have a new-to-me toy to fling with

Yea its getting closer only a couple of months of riding left for me then the snow is to deep and then I drag the jeep out. All though a buddy of mine has one of those snow bikes he said I could try out. That might be my new sport. One never knows.

Smartest thing I did was trade my CJ-5 for the DR650. After flogging it for 11 years, it needed many dollars & many hours of wrenching and welding. He blew the rear diff. & started an electrical fire 2 days after we swapped titles I just found out there's a poker run at Tahuya this Sunday. It'll be the perfect venue to get aquainted with my new toy, after I pick it up tomorrow.

It was actually quite nice at Tahuya today, fairly dry and reasonably warm. Something about a football game on the tube must of kept everyone off the trails... Relatively short 25 mile day saw a total of 6 riders.

How's your bike treating you?

Not one problem I haven't caused... and actually, only one that I have. Slid sideways over a large set of roots at reasonable speed, center punched a tree and broke the front fender. Rode every enduro in western wa last year, a handfull of hare scrambles, and a lot of trail riding, it's no garage queen.
Still love it!

Sweet! Enduros are something I have not done, yet. Seeing is how I'm so anal about punctuality, I'd think being on time, would be right up my alley, we'll see...
