Default clutch cover gasket to big?

I brought a gasket kit from my local dealer for my 02 ec200.

The trans oil is leaking from the gasket seal so I took it apart and noticed that the gasket diameter is larger than the cover, and I think its why it's leaking. Does this make sense?

Is the gasket from a 250cc or 300cc, or maybe another year? Any ideas?

It was, but the diameter was bigger. Used sealant in the end
