Default Sachs fork bleeders for 2011 EC 300

Anyone know of any fork bleeders that will work in a 2011 EC 300 other than the STR ones? Would like to order from inside the US as well. Thanks.

I'm not "upset" but I am surprised at these newer bikes, fascinated that with all the bells and whistles, on a 3+ hour ride there is no way to blow the forks down without a tool. I am most interested in these due to the stainless construction and the low profile. I have not got a response as yet to confirm fitment, but pretty sure the 00 number is the right on for the '11 zochs. The price is so right I'm not concerned in that regard, just want to order only one set and it be right :-)

email stated they were 4mm x .7, which did you order, I see two part numbers at that size, not sure why and they didn't bother in this email to tell me which specifically fit the zoch forks, only they were 4mm.

I ordered the 5mm ones. They should work for the 2011 EC 300 sachs 48's.

Received and installed the MP 5mm micro bleeders. Went on easy, look good, and seem to work well so far. 2011 ec 300 Sachs 48's

I am convinced that forkbleeders let more air in while riding. As an experiment try riding with one bleeder and one screw and see which one has more air to bleed at the end of the day.

Since i fitted synergy seals fork seals i have no excess air in my forks after a ride. Used to have the screws halfway out and hear the air blowing out, but since the SS i remove the screws completely because i find it hard to believe that there is no air buildup

I was surprised to learn that forks should only be bled cold, with the front wheel off the ground. I use to depress my bleeders two or three times a ride, local suspension guy just shook his head when I told him this. Bleeding a hot fork on the ground with you sitting on the bike will set up a negative air pressure in the fork when it tries to extend. I felt silly hearing this and wondered if my WP forks on my Husaberg were ever performing as well as they should be.
