gas tank for the gas gas

Hi all,

Does anybody know if the fuel tank from a 2002 ec300 fit straight onto a 1998 ec250 as i would like to fit the later plastics and decals to spruce up the old dog

Depends on which cyl head you have. My 97 has a tall spout for the coolant which interferes with the tank from the newer bikes.. Otherwise it would drop right in.. I tried a tank from an 04? the one with the odd fill spout.
