Thumbs up Motion Pro T3 throttle cable

My OEM throttle cable leaves a lot to be desired. I never could get the right amount of free play adjusted.

I took a chance and ordered a Motion Pro T3 Slidelight throttle cable for a KTM 2 stroke.
The Motion Pro cable has a built in pivot to adjust the cable and "captured" ends. They WON"T pull out of either end. No safety wire need at all.

The KTM throttle cable fitted right up 100%. The cable could be an inch shorter, but will work well for riders with tall bars.
The cable are very high quality and has some sturdy cover sleeves in the high wear areas. Action is very smooth.

The cable part # is 10-3000.

I just got the T2 for the GG from Halls, I actually wanted a longer one to route around the flex bars. Is that one longer than stock?

I have had this cable on my 2011 for a few months now. I really like it. Nice not worrying about it pulling out.

Default Thnx

Great info.

Crud, I just installed the motion pro extended GG specific cable. Although the action is very smooth it would be nice to not have to safety wire it

The extra 5.5 inches is for the KTM cable. On the KTM, it allows you to run the cable in front of the bars vs the OEM routing.

Default Hmmm

My 2010 does not have the same carb as pictured....wondering if this cable will work with older style carbs?

So there isn't any issue with the bend in the cable at the top of the carb?
I have one of these cables I was going to swap on and wasn't sure about the bend since the stock cable has the metal tube on the end...

well, maybe it will be longer than the one the GG too? yes/no? otherwise, I have a longer cable for the KTM - guess it pays off to have two bikes
