Yea thats not the problem its the lower frame tab that brakes off were the bottom roller mounts to I just made a peace that bolts to the side stand bolt and goes to the sub frame for support shortened the low roller and bolt to make getting to it better also this is mostly a fix to help from braking that tab
off looks like it might work time will tell
But still looking for a better Idea
thanks

I broke my lower roller/ kickstand tab(welded to frame) the first day I rode the bike. I welded it twice at the failure point just past the gussets and it subsequently broke twice right next to my welds.

I now just ride with no lower roller or kickstand. Incredibly poor design with what I think is a cast(?) tab, which is what makes welding it ineffective at the thin failure point by the bolt hole. If the bike did not have other redeeming qualities, I would have sold it the same week I bought it. I hope the rest of the frame, welds and "tabs" hold up better....

Mine broke as well. Got a new bracket and was able to remount despite the roller bracket being busted. Sounds like it might not last

Was thinking about having the roller bracket rewelded-thanks for the info! Guess I wont as it sounds like it is a waste of time/money.

They must have changed the stand bracket on the newer models, both of my 07's have been well used and the stands have never given any issues, maybe try finding a stand bracket from an older model and mounting that?

What does yours do, just reinforce the mount?

I think one of the reasons the bracket breaks is a roller bolt not properly torqued in combination with letting the sidestand swing up without holding it. This puts an enormous stress on bracket.
I made a new piece of bracket out of 3 mm steel(a bit thicker than original bracket), and grinded out the center flat part of old one, leaving the flanges to weld it to. I have also removed the large diameter return spring. It has held up for a few months now.

Check your roller bolt torque.

I have no photos, but i made a "drawing"
