Default wiseco or vertex piston which one

I order a vertex piston and got a wiseco instead, I do not like wiseco . should
i use it or return it. thanks

Vertex is cast and coated? and should weigh less, wiseco is forged, I would not be dissapointed if it were me. do yourself a favour and have a machinist measure your cylinder and piston for fit and dont forget to measure the ring end gap.

The Wiseco is heavier, so the motor won't spool up as fast.
The Vertex has a teflon coating on the skirt to help with break in.

Copy that ....
i did a premature top end on my 06 gasser (70 hours) and two shops told me the wiseco was too big and would seize once it expanded. Evidently the Jug did no have enough wear yet??

Kind of answers my question what size is the Weisco... (big)
