Default In need of a new rear master cylinder

I destroyed my rear master cylinder in my race this past weekend.
The plunger pulled out of the bottom of the MC.

I was told that there is a Six Days version of a rear MC that is larger in volume and has cooling fins on it.

Anyone have any info or details on this potential upgrade?

My bike is a 2014 XC300R.

I'm also in need of a new brake pedal. The crossover section says "Kawasaki with mod" - anyone have any new/updated info as far as a brake pedal goes?

Thanks!

I doubt there is any difference with the master cylinder, just the cooling fin style cap.
the cooling fin at the master cylinder really doesn't help much with fluid boiling.

Thanks for the reply!

You are right - it is not an entirely new MC - it's just a finned cap that increases the volume and then of course has the air fins on it.
Thanks to the guys at Matto Cycle, I have a new MC and this extended/finned cap on the way along with a new brake pedal.
That was an expensive collision!

My biggest problem with boiling was simply that I needed to lower my pedal. I did that right before practice last weekend and the whole things was for naught as I bent it all to hell.

Thanks again!

Kawasaki pedals is for "out of frame" brake pedals years.

For rear master cilinder, greath possibility to find an crossover in yamaha line. Take a look.

the same thing happened to my brake. I can get it working, but i think there must have been some rounding when the circlip was forced out and i generally need to make trail side repairs to fit it back in.

I am guessing this means that the it is not possible to re-square the circlip groove inside the MC?
