18 XC300 jetting for 5000 feet
I?m very new to jetting. Looking for info on jetting for 3000-6000 feet with most riding being at 4 to 5000. Everyone seems to boast about a JD kit on other bikes. Would this be a good route to go?

Definitely replace the stock needle for one that is leaner.
There are a few threads on the forum that discusses the 2018 jetting solutions. |

Nothing wrong with forking out for a JD kit, if you're happy to go near enough is good enough and see a significant improvement over stock.
In saying that, the threads mentioned above will offer you solutions that give you a much finer range to tune down to, for a fraction of the cost. |
