Question Damper tower for 2012

First one with a 2012 (you too Clay!) please take a minute and measure the dia of the upper steering head with a caliper. If the same as the '11 the KTM towers should fit. PMB has nice KTM towers with a longer offset that will work with a fastway damper or Scotts with a longer arm. I'd like to order one, thanks!

Our 12 that the factory air freighted over is at the airport in Atlanta. Hopefully US Customs will be done with it today and I can pick it up tomorrow. I will measure the steering head. I actually own a set of calpiers!

Any update on this? I have a Scotts from a previous bike and would like to mount it on my new one... Scotts doesn't list the 2012 yet obviously...

Clay measured his 300 steering neck at 2.44" or 62mm, same as my '07. So, it appears the '10/'11 with the"B" frame were 59mm, and the '12 is back to 62mm, so the older towers should fit.

I have a Scotts damper from my Husaberg that I plan to mount on my 2012... the arm is in the standard position... can anyone tell me if I will have to have to reverse it, or will the damper fit between the bar clamps (Fastway) and the cross bar?

You won't need to flip the arm around
