First ride on the new bike....whoa!

Well, I went out for the first ride on the new 06 ec250. Geez, I am in love with this ride. I am coming off an 03 KTM 200exc and I immediately felt comfortable on the GG. I was going faster, felt more in control and didn't get
as tired on the new one. My buddies said I looked more natural on this bike
and I felt more natural, as well. A lot less effort to go fast on this baby!

Yes, and now you know what suspension is supposed to work like too!

Many of us came from KTMs.

How would you compare the handling and suspension between the two?

I know that KTM has come a long way in the last four years, suspension-wise, so it might not be a fair comparison if someone were considering an '07 or '08 KTM.

Like you said, I really can't compare the GG to an 07 KTM as I haven't ridden one. I know between my 03 and the GG, the difference is day and nite! I have heard the new ones handle mucho better than my 03. I looked for an
07 250 xcw but there were none that I could find and I was wanting to get back to a rear linkage bike and I am really glad I did.
