Well I was thinking you might use the inner stator, but judging by how rusty everything looks, maybe it's best to just fix the outer stator. Good to hear you found someone to do it.
Did you find any information on testing the outer stator? Measuring ohms to know for sure it's bad?

Hey !
I own an old 1998 EC250 since a few days and I am stuck into turning back the 12V on. It seems like there is no rotor on the external generator, and I think one of the previous owner have replaced the flywheel for a more recent one. I am thinking about adding a rotor on the existing flywheel but, I have no idea if it will be adaptable or not. Here is the ducati R093 rotor I was thinking about : https://www.allumage-electronique.fr...ue-ducati.html Here is a picture of the ignition system on my bike if it can help : https://cloud.atryo.fr/index.php/s/z9xpSc7HgBNm86w The last option I see is replacing the entire "internal" ignition system for a recent one that can generate the power for the ignition and for the lights. But I have no idea if it will be adaptable or not. Does any of you have an idea on the easiest way to solve this ? Last edited by daolx12; 08-18-2023 at 08:21 AM. |
