06 EC200 Dash Problems

Hi have a gasgas ec200 06 and the dash doesnt work, the wires coming from the unit have perished and have exposed wires that are touching each other. Can these be replaced or is a new unit in order?

If your using it for H+H as your other post suggests just remove the unit and forget about it, you won't be looking at the speedo anyway.

sounds like a good plan to me, does anyone have a link for a mx style number board so i can loose the light as well?

On my 06 200 I used a number plate for crf250 of approx 09 vintage. I made a standoff that I mounted in the M6(?) threaded hole in the front of the upper triple clamp. I might have made a bracket for the lower clamp as well. I can take some pictures if you like. Now, with the KYB forks I use a yz250f number plate.

I run a mid 2000s KTM plate on mine. No mods.

I run a 13' KX450F plate, pretty slick looking.
