Default Wild hp 300 Motor Rebuild

Ok so i have finally killed my motor and now that its due for a full rebuild what should i be doing,
It used to be a counter balanced motor but that was removed after a small incident destroying the drive gear on it, so do i get a new one or do i get it balanced ?

For the new rod i found an X something rod kit on ebay for the Cr250, so that is on the list, i have already got the new wiseco piston, i found some bearings on ebay to replace the mains but do i go sealed or open ?

i have to replace the clutch drive plate as i snapped a spring mount off last time ,

So in your opinion what else should i be doing ?

Cheers in advance.

Bill

Another fellow on here just had his crank, rod and piston balanced; and reported good results. It would be worth checking into, i would. You might have rb-designs set the squish while your at it, and maybe his carb mod too.

Just some ideas. Im by no means an expert.
