2009 EC300 side filter covers mounting ?
I recently tore down my (new to me) 2009 EC300 and the previous owner replaced missing body work fasteners with zip-ties. Any body have a pic for reference or know what size bolt / how the side filter covers attach to the sub-frame? I've looked at the exploded diagrams but they were no help. I'm specifically looking for how the side filter cover is attached to the lower sub frame tube. The hole on the underside of my sub-frame's diagonal rising tube is not a thru hole and shows signs of heavy wear. The 2 bolts I had left only spun in the holes - if it was threaded its not any more. Thanks.

They're a little plastic screw, kind of like a fine self tapper with a large head. It's a pretty poor design and I've lost a few. When I went to my GG dealer to get some replacements, I was told its far better to cut a thread in there and use a proper bolt
