Thanks Jakobi my gasser keeps 'teaching' me knew things to learn. The gas gas forum helps with the answers too.

I like the power delivery of the N1EF but it's too rich off idle. Got the N1EG and there was an improvement but had to go down on the pilot jet (previous 40). Good transition off idle into middle range and soft hit when WOT. Still a bit tricky to idle but a bit better than before. Air screw still bares almost no influence on idle, might have to go down again on the pilot jet.
Tried the N3CJ #3, MJ180, PJ40 but too much of a hit when WOT.
After a few tests with the N3CJ (again) with:
Temperature (degC) =15-20
Elevation = Sea level
Main jet = 178
Pilot jet =45
Needle & notch =N3CJ / #4
Air screw setting =1,5
Throttle valve/slide =#7
Keihin PWK 38

Found this combination to work well but couldn't help noticing it a bit lean at 1/4 throttle and with lack of grunt especially on gnarly up hills where you have to avoid the power valve to open to prevent the bike from flipping over.
Hence, I moved to the next step richer needle N3CW (thanks Jakobi) and kept the same settings :

Temperature (degC) =15-20
Elevation = Sea level
Main jet = 178
Pilot jet =45
Needle & notch =N3CW / #4
Air screw setting =1,5
Throttle valve/slide =#7
Keihin PWK 38

Now I have low end grunt and the lean feeling vanished. I still need to work on the airscrew a bit but I'm happy with the overall result for this altitude and temp. For my riding area I think the N3CJ is definitely a needle to consider when the temp gets warmer . With the N3CJ I was getting +130Kms with the Clark tank, did not test yet with N3CW

Bike year & model = 2006 EC 200
Temperature (degF) = 70-85
Elevation (feet) = 1,000
Main jet = 178
Pilot jet = 40
Needle & notch = N3EJ 4th notch
Air screw setting = 1 - 1.5 out
Throttle valve/slide = 5

Results: hard hit, could really use a 6 slide, strong mid and top, bottom could be better i might switch back to a 42. lots of spooge partly from castor 927 a lot less with amsoil, bike still ran good in 40 degree weather

This cold weather jetting seems very close but I need to still check WOT plug reading.

13 ec300r with the new barrel

38 necj/3 172
Full on rev machine, very quick onto the pipe. Starts super easy on choke and when hot.

Might try nedj/3 for a touch more low mid range grunt but the 38 pj is good

Edit: great awesome jetting.... The flat spot was a lack of grip last time out so I must of been looking for traction in way too higher gear, with no roll on. Yesterday I rode same trails in absolutely perfect conditions, think fresh bluebird powder if you ski... And the thing just rocks! It wil tick over up a flag pole and screams at wot. Only problem was it spat some coolant on a tricky hill that I faffed up and needed some clutch abuse to negotiate, I'm not certain I had the cap on properly though as I had checked it prior to riding and never had this or any gasser spit coolant, it spat about 150ml. It was 29 deg Celsius and I broke the golden rule (I shut down at top of hill straight away). I'll do same hill affine next time I'm sure

No other signs of being hot all day, and I was up it for the rent, I was absolutely roo ted after 64 ks following a vv good rider.

How is the new barrel for economy?

Gooderer than my 11, somewhere between 100 and 120 ks per tank so far, mainly the 120 results unless it's been very wet, be interesting to see how this leaner main affects the fuel, I was too rich at 175, it revs out really well now.
