DEP exhaust systems

Hi there

Im thinking of getting a new exhaust to replace my battered, badly fitting and noisy setup on my 2002 EC300 with this DEP complete system. Has any body any experience or views on it at all please. It looks a bargain, but im more concerned with how loud it is rather than extra power etc.

I have a DEP box on mine, not loud at all, I had a look at the expansion chamber, looked fine to me.

I have fitted the exhaust now, with new gaskets. A reasonable fit although the silencer doesnt line up properly, but i have managed to sort that out. A little longer front pipe would have been nice though as only about an inch of overlap between pipe and silencer exists. I can 'exhaust putty' this though to ensure no leaks.

I actually took the bike on the road today, when off pipe, the bike is struggling to pull, with a choked up feeling to it; on pipe it does go well but hardly pulling my arms out of my shoulders!!! But im used to 1000cc sportsbikes so have nothing similar to compare against.
The bike is quite smokey, so maybe i have a bad plug or bad fuel/oil mix. Ill drop fuel and buy a new plug for it before i go further afield with the bike.

I had an 03' 300, it should pull like a train especially on pipe. The DEP are more 'peeky' than the FMF pipe. I think you may have some jetting problems, what mix you running? 50:1 was fine on mine. May expain smoke problems?
