Yeah...this showed up on my FB wall too. Obviously a hydro-lock. I saw a JS 550 Jet Ski do this back in the day. Not pretty.

Where is all of the coolant that should be everywhere?
Maybe someone didn't fill the rads after a coolant change?
That would certainly explain a few things.

Judging by his post I would guess that he probably broke a piston and a piece got transferred to the top of the piston.

That picture has been floating around for a couple of years. I saw the same thing happen to a brand new Husqvarna 125 a few years ago. I believe the owner of that bike frequents this site.
