Default MKII Pampera engine questions

I recently bought a 2000 320 Pamp and cannot believe how hard this thing is to kick. Since I bought this bike for my wife I HAVE to find a way to make it start easier. I understand that this is a trials motor and all but can other GG parts from cylinder up be installed to make it kick more like a normal 2 stroke? Can I install a compression release?

Also, is there a pipe available for this bike other than stock?

TIA,
-tom
