I have not done a side by side measurement comparison between cylinders but there appear to be differences in the castings over the years and we all know the power delivery has changed over the years.

Maybe if we've got some spare barrels kicking about we can make a port map club , I've got a spare at work doing nothing atm! Definitely feels like the 2002 is ported like an mxer, and the 2006 like a mid range enduro chugger.
