Yep. Mine does something similar, but it doesn't last as long as yours, as it cleans up quicker. It just on the bottom as I spool up the revs. The only thing I'm not happy with so far is the crappy footpegs. Mine broke on the second ride on a light tipover on a loamy hill.

GasGas, give me a new set of the stronger pegs like those that come on the cervates/nambo models.

Anyone think there is a possibility this spudder is ignition related? (bad mapping in the blackbox) Mine is much worse in rain mode. I desparately seek an answer. I cant drop the main jet any smaller as my bike acts lean after extended wot.

maybe its a PV thing. Have you tried a CCK needle? Worked wonders for me.

These pegs will fit your bike (choose Gas Gas model, ignore the year, they fit the 2011 fine):

They sit slightly further forward than stock but otherwise they work great.

Randall, you might be on to something. Did you get those other mods done?

Thanks for the link Steve. I actually just picked up some moose hybrid 1/2 inch back offset pegs. Probably going to put a hammerhead shifter on with the offset to get the shifter extended a bit. Even with the 1/2 inch back it's still a tight fit, even with my size 8 Gaerne's. These gasser levers are a little short.

Will not run very good at all with this jetting. Both bikes have 38mm ASII carbs, the only difference is I got rid of my handlebar choke and put a YZ250 one in. Any ideas? Are these things that different in jetting that they are going to need this specific of jetting?
Figured my buddies bike out. There were 4 base gaskets installed in his bike from the factory. All the 0.5mm thickness. WTF? I get that GG try's to sell these bikes so that they'll run on crappy Euro fuel but 2mm worth of base gaskets? Took 3 out, re-installed and the bike runs like a top with the increased compression. Anyone else encounter this?

Mine came with 1.3mm of gaskets with 2.6mm of squish.

The gasket stack was perfect to set the exhaust port flush with top of piston at BDC. I didn't want to change port timing to lose top end so went with a high comp head which increased compression and reduced squish.

I may drop the 0.3mm gasket next top end to see how it effects the engine characteristics.
