Default EC300 07/08 FMF Gnarly

I was wondering if anyone out there has any experience with this pipe(07/08 FMF Gnarly) in terms of performance and fitment. I'm wondering if it will fit on my 05' EC300?? From what I gather the 03-06' Gnarly is not a popular choice.

Thx
Mike

You'll probably need to change the mount locations on the pipe to fit your 05. I just mounted up the new Gnarly on my 07 EC250 - wow! They finally got it right for the GasGas. Small increase in bottom end over stock, but it still revs out just fine. And the price is right too.

If anyone out there has smashed their stocker, the new Gnarly is a great replacement pipe.

It should fit all the way back to the 2003 model year.

Gas Gas used the same OEM pipe from 2003-2007 then changed the OEM design in 2008 for more ground clearance. The newer Gnarly design fits the 08 and 09 models also and comes stock on the US bikes but should work all the back to the 2003.

After I get my RB-Designs squish mod (and top-end R&R), I'll have to see if I still require more bottom. Since I already have the LTR PV cover on my 2005 DE250, the Gnarly could be the way to go.

Who is a good source for that pipe for my machine?

Not quite. I have a 07 with a 06 Gnarly and silencer on it. The first rubber mount by the water pump does not line up and I had to heat and bend the silencer to fit right with the rear side panel.

This is what I was told directly from GG Spain. Same "OEM" pipe was used 03-07. In theory the Gnarly should fit but apparantly results will vary.
