Here are the popular choices that seemed to come up the most (and JD needles of course).

CEK, CEL
DCJ, DCK
DDJ, DDK

Not sure if that helps or not but something to think about.

Too much to think about! I'll have a look at the KTM site and see what they're saying.

My 300 came with an N1EF and the CCK was smoother so I was wondering if it works well in the 200. The other complicating factor is that currently it's fitted with a 36mm instead of the 38. When moving down in carb size what jetting changes should I expect to need? Currently it runs ok but not spot on. There is a power hole in the midrange. Not sure if rich or lean, I suspect rich. I guess dropping the needle a notch will soon tell me. It pulls then goes flat in the high midrange and then picks up again on full revs.
