Default Trail Tech Vapor - Gasgas EC300 2014 Racing

Hello guys!
Need some help to instal a "tachometer" cable to my Vapor. Problem: i have the TT with the rpm option, but the old owner of the trail tech unit lost the cable.
Can i make a new cable? To read the RPM signal? I have a conector from a old speedometer cable. The tachometer cable in the TT unit have wires. One black and one red. So, if i put the connector, need to put 2 wires. One black and one red. The red one to the coil and the black in the ground?
Thanks!

PS: Just to inform, i don't have the original cable. So i will try to make one. hard to find the cable here in Brazil.

Trail Tech has the individual cables on their website.

Pretty sure the "tach" cable is just a single wire lead that wraps around your plug wire, the only issue I could see with making one is the plug.

Works great. Just one wire in the coil. 5 turns. Tach perfect. Thank you.

Hello
I got the same issue and want to ask how the "tach" cable is connected. Just connect the single wire from plug wire to the red cable of Vapor connector? And the black one stays unconnected?
