Default IMS vs Clarke

Ok I decided that I need a bigger tank . I am leaning towards the IMS .(a little more fuel capacity) I have a 03 ec300 and hopefully someone out here in GasGas land has used both style tanks. The questions I would like answered are:
Fitment between brands
Looks (never seen a pic of a IMS tank on a gasgas)
product quality
I have looked into the safari fuel tanks .However cool $475 for a little more fuel is crazy talk

I have a '03 ec250 with the 3.2 Clarke tank. Works well. Only fitment problem is when installing the seat. U have to push the seat forward with some extra effort to get it to bend up a little more at the front. I have read that U can heat up the seat pan at this location and install, and the new bend will stay that way. I'll have to give this a try.

I love my IMS on my 04 ec300. Tank shrouds took some elbow grease to get on and Im pretty sure I cross threaded the screws. I agree with the seat issue. Overall its a great tank though. Have heard some more negatives about the clarke, but cant say anything about it personally. I never really checked to see if it actually holds 3.2, but I will now!

I've got the Clarke semi-transparent tank on my '08.
The tank was bought for our previous '05, but we kept it and adapted it to the '08.

The tank is good for about 60 enduro miles, 70+ trail miles (at sea level).
The fit is very good, though I did have to elongate the mounting holes in the shrouds a little when mounting to the '08 bike. The cap is the typical Clarke screw-on and doesn't leak a drop.

Only two "issues". First, because the tank is bulbous at the fron where the stock tank mounts to the frame, it has to use a short brackret that screws into the bottom side of the tank near the front and into the mounting hole in the frame. I use a sub-mount steering damper and I have to loosen the damper post and rotate it to get at the the bolt in the fame when I want to remove the tank. Not a big deal just another step.

The other issue is that the fuel valve on the tank tends to butt up against the backside of the cylinder with the valve in the "on" position (straight down).
Again, not a big deal, but it makes moving the valve to "reserve" while riding rather difficult.

My Clarke tank holds just over 3.3gals measured on my 06 300. Much better than stock.
