Default My little "update," and peeling vinyl question

I just installed my new red body kit. Same old 2002 300, but all tarted up in red skins. Just need to get a red airbox cover and I'm set.

Earlier today-

In the light-

Other side-

Now for the peeling question. I received the plastics with the graphics peeling up on several edges. I set the shrouds in the sun to warm them up and then put on some lint free gloves to work the edges down. No dice. Any suggestions to get them to stick?

Superglue all loose graphic edges, even good leading edges of shrouds to keep them on in the tight woods.

Wow Phil, that shiny red plastic is a lot nicer to view, than the worn black ones. BTW...did you keep or toss the old ones?

Good idea, hadn't thought of that. I'll give it a shot.

I'm keeping the old ones for spares and race plastic. Plus, it makes it a selling point to have two complete plastic sets. Now I need to get another set of side plastics (in case I keep the bike, of course).

If I expect it to be real bad, like tight south jersey brush, I'll tape the leading edges too. Same if real muddy or you sand a hole in the graphics.
