Exhaust Spooge
Howdy. Recently re-jetted after moving to 6200ft elev. I ride up to 10,000ft. The bike seems to be running great but I noticed an excessive amount of spooge off the silencer...dripping all the way down the tube
Here are my running specs. 05' EC300 Fresh top end / LTR Jetting (168/38/-0 needle/top clip position / 40:1 Maxima) I had the same thing happen awhile ago when running this lean jetting set-up and it cleared when I changed to 175/42(for running at 2500ft in winter). Mostly I'm trying to understand the phenomenon but would also like to clean it up |

A simple silencer repacking may solve your spooge dilemma.

Yep...might be due. The silencer has approx. 2500mi on it. Thx for the input.

It might be running a little hotter now. Sticky spooge build up inside pipe melts and starts dripping.
