Obstacle demonstration and comments
I went for a decent ride with a couple of very fast and experienced riders. I know these guys through road racing, they are quick on any surface. They are also modest, humble, and quick with a supporting phrase or comment. Here is just one moment where feedback was supplied moments after I popped over a log.
These gents are all class, and always willing to help out us with "learning moments" and words of encouragement. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lwp3R-3P-jU

Nice Phil!
Sounds like the guys we ride with are of the same mindset...LOL. Enjoyed hearing your buddy relive the experience for you..."and you just disappeared"...hahahahaha. Hey - are you going to be out at the Ridge this coming weekend (actually Sunday-Monday)? We're heading up for the 2-day PSSR event in case you're in the neighborhood. |

Awesome! Don't you just love the support we get from our riding partners
I ride a ton with my brother and cousin and things are pretty low key, but the competitive nature comes out from time to time and that's when things get fun. Going down like Phil is always given full applause and zero help from my brother and cousin. It's always entertaining waiting for the next guy to make a mistake and revel in their misfortune! |

That "buddy" is one of the faster guys in WMRRA, former President and Board of Directors. The front rider is Ross Delong, the former Pacific Raceways lap record holder and would regularly beat Mike Sullivan in Formula Ultra and Open Super Sport. Wicked fast. I can't remember if he ever held the #1 plate, but I do remember him racing six different bikes per weekend in 2003-2005. Awesome group of guys.
